Terms of service
This is an English translation provided for information. The contract is governed by the Spanish version (Condiciones del servicio), which prevails if there is any discrepancy.
These terms explain plainly how I work: what each plan includes, how payment works, what happens if something goes wrong and who owns what. If anything is unclear, ask me before you sign up.

1. Who provides the service

The service is provided remotely (call or video call, WhatsApp and email) to clients across Spain and in other countries. If you’re in or near Murcia, we can also meet in person.
2. What each plan includes
All prices are in euros and exclude VAT (the applicable VAT is added to the invoice). If you’re a client outside Spain, we’ll confirm the VAT that applies to your case before you sign up.

Extras (promo video, additional language, optimised Google Business Profile, QR code for a sign, custom tools) are charged at the price published on the home page or in the quote. Nothing outside the chosen plan or the accepted quote is charged without telling you first.
Not included unless stated: professional photography, translations into languages not ordered, online shop, legal texts specific to your activity, and the cost of any third-party services you decide to use.
3. Free, no-obligation mockup
Before you pay anything, I prepare a mockup of your homepage. If you don’t like it, you pay nothing and there’s no commitment. The mockup is for making a decision; it isn’t published or delivered as a finished website unless you go ahead.
4. Price and payment
- 50% when you approve the mockup. Work starts with that payment.
- 50% when the website goes live, once you’ve reviewed it and it’s on your domain.
Payment is by bank transfer or by card through the payment gateway indicated, and you always receive an invoice, issued in euros. Maintenance is paid month by month.
Clients outside Spain: invoices are in euros and VAT is applied according to the rules that apply to your case (for example, whether you’re a business or a private individual, and which country you’re in); we’ll tell you before you sign up.
5. Rounds of changes
A round is a single list of changes you send me in one go (by WhatsApp or email) about the website once it’s built: text, photos, colours, order of sections. Express includes 1 round, Business 2 and Premium whatever the quote sets. Changes that mean redoing something already approved, or adding sections not included, are quoted before they’re made; if you don’t accept the quote, they’re neither made nor charged.
6. Timeframes
Timeframes (5 days, 2 weeks, 3 to 4 weeks) run from when you’ve approved the mockup, paid the first 50% and sent me everything needed: text (if it’s yours to provide), photos, logo, contact details and any access required. If something is missing, the clock stops until I have it. If I’m the one running late for reasons on my side, I’ll let you know as soon as I know, and you can cancel what’s outstanding with a refund of what you paid for the part not delivered.
7. Ownership: website, text, photos and domain
- The domain is yours. It’s registered in your name, not mine.
- Your text, photos, logo and trade marks are yours. I only use them for your website. You confirm you have the right to use them.
- The website is yours once paid for. If you drop maintenance or want to leave, I hand over the website files so you can host them wherever you like.
- I keep the right to reuse my generic tools and code snippets in other projects, without your content.
- I may show your website as completed work in my portfolio, unless you ask me not to.
8. Monthly maintenance
It’s optional. Basic (€19/month): hosting, domain, backups and small changes. Plus (€39/month): all of the above, one larger update a month and a report on visits and enquiries. A small change is, for example, updating opening hours, a price or a phone number, or swapping some photos; anything involving a new section or a redesign is quoted separately.
No minimum term: you can cancel whenever you like with 30 days’ notice. When it ends, I hand over the website and help you move the domain wherever you want. Without maintenance, the only fixed cost is renewing the domain (around €8.41 a year including Spanish VAT for a .es at a registrar such as DonDominio), which you pay directly.
9. Right of withdrawal (consumers only)
If you sign up as a consumer (for personal use, not for your business or profession), you have 14 calendar days from signing up to withdraw without giving any reason, by telling me in writing at ccsshaft@gmail.com or on WhatsApp.
If you expressly ask me to start before those 14 days are up and then withdraw, you’ll pay a proportional amount for the work done up to that point. If the service has been fully completed at your request, the right of withdrawal no longer applies. Businesses, self-employed people and professionals signing up for their activity don’t have this right, but the free mockup lets you decide before paying.
Model withdrawal form: “I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the web design contract entered into on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Date and signature (if on paper).”
10. Liability
- I do the work carefully and fix at no cost anything you ordered that doesn’t work as agreed.
- Nobody can guarantee specific positions on Google. I commit to submitting your website and preparing it properly for searches in your city and area, not to a particular ranking.
- You’re responsible for making sure your business information (prices, opening hours, legal or health information, mandatory registrations) is correct and allowed.
- Hosting and other third-party services (Cloudflare, Google, WhatsApp, payment gateways) have their own terms and possible outages that don’t depend on me.
- Except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, my liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service affected.
11. Governing law and language
These terms are governed by Spanish law, including when the client is in another country. If you sign up as a consumer, this doesn’t take away the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of Murcia, unless you sign up as a consumer, in which case the courts of your place of residence will have jurisdiction. Before anything else, write to me: almost everything can be sorted out by talking.
